Prohm is an Alabama guy, isn't he? They'll probably get him.

I wonder if VCU goes after him too. We're now worried our coach will be a candidate there since he was a pretty popular assistant at VCU.

FWIW - I read where the VCU AD said they wanted to get someone not previously associated with the program this time. anything is possible. if shaka left last year I bet your coach would be VCU's HC right now though.

doubt White leaves for Bama when he could've had the Tennessee job last season

I can see Mike White leaving a program that hasn't been to the NCAA tournament in his tenure. I would recommend he pursue the job. He's done all he can do at La Tech. Time for another challenge.

I don't think White is on VCU's list. It definitely would be an upgrade for him though.

White wont leave tech until the ole miss job comes open and the cabbie assaulter is gone.

How's he done all he can do? He hasn't even made the tournament.....

I think that was meant to be a shot at Tech's ceiling.

Will White be pissed when he finds out that if he gets the #1 seed, the SEC tournament won't be played in Tuscaloosa?

Such a great contribution to this thread. Why don't you go home?

Please show me where Mike White got "pissed" about the location of a game.

Season's over - time to move on

Mike White is a good coach. Hope he stays with LA Tech. Only thing he's missing is making the NCAA tourney and winning some games there.

That being said, if Bama offers serious money (supposedly they offered Marshall 3.0M!) then it's going to be hard for him to say no.

Bama wouldn't offer him what they had prepared for Marshall

From a brief search I found that White's salary is $600,000 (3.6M/6 years) but is it more with incentives? I don't know.

What do you think Bama would offer? Surely at least 1M.

I hope White stays. He is a good coach and represents his school and CUSA well.

F bama.
