So what is the deal with the video this year? It looks like we need a different subscription to watch away games, but when I go to the CUSA digital network site, the game isn't listed. I'm now questioning why we even have a CSL subscription...

Chandler led off with a walk on 4 pitches.
Stainback flied out. Did he attempt to sac bunt and failed?
Byrd struck out on 3 pitches. Ugh.
Reeves first pitch fly out.
Once again we totally waste a leadoff baserunner, and don't even get him into scoring position.
Scoreless heading to the bottom of the first inning.

There's video, but it costs $9.95 for a month subscription. Hard to tell everything that's going on, but it's better than nothing. It looked like Reeves hit a pretty good shot to left but the wind is blowing hard from left to right. It's cold, too. You can see the breath of all the players.

Once again we give up a hit on an 0-2 count. The past 2 weeks are pitchers are unable to put batters away when they get ahead in the count. Really puzzling since we're facing weaker competition. Even the ground out was on an 0-2 pitch.
McCanna in trouble early, with runners on 1st and 2nd (2 singles), one out.
And yet another 0-2 single to give ODU the early lead. McCanna is not fooling anyone this inning. Runners on 2B and 3B, one out.
Another 0-2 count, and Kevin finally gets a swing and a miss. Two down.

That's really aggravating. My Owlvision subscription doesn't cost less this year, it just contains less...like Girl Scout cookies?

Kevin is pounding the strikezone, getting ahead of every batter he's faced so far, but struggles to put them away. Three hard hit singles-- all with 2-stikes on the batter-- plates one run, and we stranded two in scoring position. Offense better wake up and snap out of it's recent funk.
Teykl soft ground out to 2B.
Warren with a great AB, walking after falling behind 0-2 and fouling off several pitches. Runner on 1B, one out.
Gray struck out looking.
Taylor bloop single up the middle. Runners at the corners, two outs.
Williamson ground out.
Down 0-1 heading to the bottom of the second inning.

We've all but abandoned our running game. We had more stolen bases the first two weeks of the season that we've had the following four weeks.

Kevin strands another two runners on 2nd and 3rd, but this time escapes damage thanks to a couple strikeouts. Four hits and a walk in two innings of work. He's already thrown 45 pitches.
Chandler struck out looking on 3-2 pitch. 2nd strikeout looking-- we've lost our aggressiveness.
Stainback check swing ground out on 3-2 pitch. We just are not batting with confidence any more.
Byrd infield single on 62 foot grounder. Two outs.
We also haven't even attempted a stolen base in a couple weeks I believe.
Reeves four-pitch walk. Runners on 1B and 2B, two outs. Time to convert with speed on 2B.

I thought Byrd had hammy/quad issues earlier this year. I am not a coach, nor do I play one on n the Internet, but I am guessing you don't run with a person whose wheels are less than 100%.

Again with the negative vibes, Moriarity. Rice is only down one. We got this, relax. Friday night pitching is supposed to be good. Err, down three...
