Which "Cinderella" team would you like to see make to the Final $? - JoeJag - 03-16-2015 03:09 PM

The Final Four. Personally it's a toss up between Georgia State and UAB. The Panthers because they have suffered through a couple of dismal football season and the ridicule they have take from this board. The Blazers because of the way they had their football program snatched from beneath them.

I would have to say Georgia State, just because it is good for the conference.

I think the Alabama BoT cringed a little when they saw UAB get the invite. I really hope the commentators mention the UAB football situation as often as possible during the game though.

Kentucky.

Soon as the NBA draft starts the whole thing turns back into pumpkins and has to be rebuilt.

They have all the qualities:

Before their Fary God Calipari arrived, they were a program struggling to get to the NCAA"s. A wave of his magic wand of cash and a few very good players appear. They ride those players to greatness for a year or two, but at midnight, or whenever the NBA draft hits, they turn immediately back into their original selves, until Calipari can wave his magic wand of cash again.

I'm just having a hard time seeing their 7 footers fitting into a "Glass Slipper."

You know, in the original Cinderella, before Disney turned it into a Family movie, the evil step sisters cut off their own toes to fit into the shoe...maybe something similar is happening here.

Northern Iowa makes the final four. Gonzaga wins it all.

Well that is where the fairytale came from you know. Disney stole it and turned it into some kids movie about all your dreams coming true.

Maybe we should split this Disney vs. Brothers Grimm pissing match into its own thread.

I'd actually like to see Georgia State win it all.
