He's a good kid, good player, and a good student. The only thing not to like is he is a poor interior defender.

Maybe Jones and his assistants could coach him up on that since defense is a big deal under ODU's system. We also could use a low post scoring threat which would help Freeman out considerably. Perhaps the 7-1 guy we have signed will be that guy?

I'd be fine with bringing on someone who is 6-11 270lbs. Size and depth in the paint is what we need, and he would provide an interesting complement to Pervier.

Go look up UAB and Todd O'Brien and St. Joseph's. They can stop him from transferring anywhere they don't want him to play.
North Carolina also got a graduate transfer from Alabama a couple of years ago. Can't remember his name, but he was going to transfer to UAB, until Alabama blocked it.

Supposedly Thorne is meeting with Bill Self and Jamie Dixon today.
He has had over 40 programs reach out including WVU, Baylor, and a ton of ACC schools.
He is not allowed to transfer to a CUSA team or 13 other unknown teams (supposedly regional ACC teams, SEC teams, and ECU)
