What a strong finish to the season. Well done. Very well done.
If anyone happened to go to EMUEagles.com there is a really nice senior night photo of our two seniors wearing the '32' shirts folks here contributed to purchase.
Sometimes sports is about more than Ws and Ls. It is about those who play the game and those who follow them.
Some of those iconic '32' photos will become remembrances of this season and Shannise Heady.

Nice post, shane and i way back and i hope he continues to win just not against us. Wmu played very sloppy basketball last night a lot of unforced turn overs.

My theme is 'family': players and their teammates and family and their 'extended' family among, us, the fans which includes current and former students, faculty, staff, and the local community.
Nice to see the women's T&F team get their honors at half time.

I to say I've been impressed by the coaching and staff and players who have played consistently inspired basketball late in this season. Here's wishing we have another NIT/NCAA banner to hang this year.

They dropped 96 points today on Akron, hitting 15 (!) three pointers. Wow!
Hopefully some of that offensive dominance carries over to the men's game!

Yes, in historical context very good seasons. Much better than when I was happy we went 15-15 for the year.

Indeed. The game is on ESPN3 and a bunch of other Midwest cable systems and ESPN's Full Court (that's a package that DirecTV has aggregating a bunch of games not shown on national networks).
Women are getting national love today.
Sweeney is playing like Tavelyn James used to play when she led EMU to the NCAAs back in 2012.
