Tickets - Hiller4Hyz09 - 02-22-2015 06:41 PM

We usually buy tickets to every game, using ECCU buy-one-get-one....but this year I think we should buy Season Tickets. Does anyone know how much they'll run tomorrow?

RE: Tickets - Dirty Ernie - 02-22-2015 08:12 PM

Last year season tics were about $113 per seat. That was 50 yard line row 26.

Depends on the number of home games. I'm betting it will be more this year.

Thank you Dirty One.

I'm hoping my mom will buy the early-birthday-present pitch. Buying 4-6 seats though would be more than anyone's ever spent on me for my birthday though. Hmmmm.

I've been told the MSU ticket will be $68.00, with discounts on other packages.

They are going to run the you have to buy season tickets to guarantee the Spartan game scam and then not sell individuals left over for MSU until the week of.

RE: Tickets - Chipdip2 - 02-23-2015 10:00 AM

Probably 6 home games total, so about $120 for the five, plus $70 for the MSU game. $190 for six games, not unreasonable, but $800 for a family of four is going to price a lot of people out of it.

I doubt it will happen, but you could price yourself into a VaTech situation where you don't sell out, or the MSU fans outnumber the home crowd.

I was already told by a sales guy that was what they were doing.

Any idea as to when those tickets will go on sale to WMU alumni and the general public?

Here's what I got from the ticket office:

MSU tickets won't be available until 2-3 weeks before the game. What I'd suggest doing is start thinking about season tickets. They should be available around February/March. I would be able to get you a mid-field location months in advance to guarantee your seats for the MSU game.

WMU website shows the options of $150 for end zone and $210 for sideline seats.

Thanks ..... I have a potential party of 15 for that game I'm sure it will take perfect timing to get that, many tickets before they sell out!

Is that for five games, doesn't include MSU?

Well, if it didn't include MSU, $150 for end-zone seats for 5 games ($30/ticket) would be an awful lot for a Season Ticket option.

You're probably going ot still have to secure a ticket or something somehow, even if it's free.

RE: Tickets - Doo - 02-23-2015 06:29 PM

Season ticket packages include MSU game. Plus the option to buy additional tickets to that game before they are on sale to the public for $68

RE: Tickets - stdatwmu - 02-23-2015 06:36 PM

Welp, looks like we'll be buying season tickets then this year.

Made it to 3 games last fall... so if that's what it takes to guarantee MSU tickets, I'll take it.

RE: Tickets - SilentStryk09 - 02-23-2015 07:24 PM

Yikes. At $68, i'm not sure i'll be able to justify going, even if it is a once-in-a-lifetime moment. Buying a house and paying for a wedding at the same time = not fun.

RE: Tickets - Doo - 02-23-2015 07:43 PM

If there are single game MSU tickets left after the season ticket holders are done taking them the price might go up from that number.

RE: Tickets - New School Bronco - 02-23-2015 07:55 PM

A lottery for students... hope I'm lucky
