Thunder - Foxtrot - 02-20-2015 11:07 AM

They pick up Kanter for Perkins, Jackson, etc... Scary how good they may be down the stretch.

I guess. They are probably better offensively but worse defensively. Not sure how they are going to integrate all of those pieces. Could be trouble if Westbrook goes down with an injury again.

I agree, and KD was having more problems with his foot last night.

Well obviously if KD or Westbrook get just again they will be in trouble, but they got better yesterday

Agree. Hopefully we'll see them paired against the Warriors in the 1st round.

This is a good thing for the Grizz. Perk legitimately gave our bigs problems, especially ZBo, and Reggie Jackson was always there waiting to take over the game if both KD and Russ were shitting the bed (see Game 4 last year). Kanter will give them more scoring but is a terrible, terrible defender. Augustine isn't hyper athletic like Reggie so we should be able to shut him down easily. The other guys are bums.

I think it was an overrated set of trades by a desperate organization.

Zach usually owns Perkins, it's Collison that Zach gets frustrated against.

The West certainly didn't get easier for us; just hope the pieces fall into place at 1, 4/5, and 8 to ease our path as a 2.

The grizzlies path and fate for the playoffs will most likely be known by the end of next month. The schedule for March is just brutal.

They have a stretch of 10 games in 15 days to start the month and end the month with Cleveland, Golden State, and the Spurs.

RE: Thunder - spankadelphia - 02-22-2015 09:05 AM

6 back to backs in March, too. The Grizz may not make it as the 2 seed, which is okay considering who is likely to be 7th.

The West is brutal. We should keep our lead over Portland since they have a pretty brutal schedule too. Houston, the Clippers and the Mavs could possibly overtake us but I think we still end up with one of the top 4 seeds. The Spurs and Thunder are too far behind us to catch us most likely.

Portland has 10 games in 15 days in March. 7 are on the road, 4 are back to backs. All but 2 are against possible playoff teams.

Exactly. Zach punks Perk every time they play. It's Collison and Adams that make it tough on him.

RE: Thunder - bsp34 - 02-23-2015 04:13 PM

they are playing really really well right now. Kanter is a slight overall upgrade over Perk and they are going to be the best 8 seed in the history of sports.
