I don't think I'll ever be able to get into college baseball. It was 5 degrees this morning when I walked my dog. How do they play baseball in that?

That's why college baseball is primarily a warm climate sport - they have to start so early to get in a season before the school year ends, that most of the northern tier schools can't get in enough games.

JMU softball solved this problem by scheduling 20 games in Florida and Alabama, all before March 15. Meanwhile, it looks like most of JMU's early baseball games will get snowed out.
