Perhaps lost among all the interest in our Tribe hoopsters is the fact that our baseball team opens this week with a three-game weekend series at the University of Mississippi in Oxford. The same UMiss, a perennial SEC
and NCAA Tourney powert, we beat twice in 2013 in the NCAA Tourney.
And our home opener is a week from tomorrow with VMI at Plumeri on
February 17th, followed by a home three-game series with Binghamton
Feb 20-22!
This should be a very competitive, talented team in our rising baseball program and one that should challenge--although our pitching may not have enough depth---College of Charleston for the CAA crown.
