It depends on what site you use. If you go by ESPN for example, Temple has no 4 stars and UCF has 3.

I like the ESPN site but everything is so damn subjective.

ESPN and Scout are easily the 2 worst.

ESPN usually just doesnt put in the effort on the lower ranked guys that a site like 247 does. Usually their top 300 is pretty good though because that's all they care about.

I feel like 247 back east is quite a bit better at evaluating mid-tier talent en-mass than it is in the west.

Most of our players aren't evaluated at all or are critically underrated year in and year out.

That could be very true. I think 247 has more southeast recruiting based analysts than anywhere else in the country. But that could be because the southeast has the most D1 prospects than any other region in the country.

Yep. Their home base is in Nashville.

And UC has a 4 star and signed QB per ESPN. Really doesn't mean much, the stars.

And literally the week before he committed, he was a 4-star on Rivals and 247 as well.

The temple fans trolling marshall over TJ Simmons on the CUSA board are doing the Lord's work.

That guys composite ranking on 247 is a 3 star. Composite ranking is what counts towards class ranking.

According to which rating service?

We're typically referring to the 247 composite, which averages all the recruiting sites.

Its not espn, 247, or rivals

RE: The American has 5 of 6 G5 4-stars - TIGERCITY - 02-04-2015 02:08 PM

The 247 *composite* ranking shows only Boise State, Memphis, UCF, and San Jose State as G5s with a four star. So the AAC has 2 of 4 in the G5.

They're transfers which doesn't count towards recruiting
