Last week, Mark Matthews team played (and won) three games.
Matthews went for 26pts./12 rebs./4 assts./3 steals, 23 pts./7 rebs./5 assts./5 steals, and for 33 points/ 8 rebounds in those games.

Check out the video of Mark Matthews. Has a great handle for a 6'6" guy. Can take it to the bucket, or pull up from well past the 3 point line with accuracy.

What I like about Matthews is he gets his points and still shares the ball. And he is now 6'7". With his ability to shoot from anywhere and make plays, he will be a nightmare to match up with.

I was thinking he was going to be a spot up shooter, but in the highlights he is driving to the basket a lot. I'm excited to see what talent Coach Keatts brings in.

Matthews is hitting 61% of his 2 point shots. That happens when you are shooting close to the basket. That also happens when you're hitting 43% of your 3 pointers, and the defender has to come out on you. If you notice the video, he is usually bringing the ball up the court. If we have a 6'7" guard that can shoot, drive and dribble, he's gonna' be a load to handle on offense.

Assuming Yemi moves on, there are slots for everybody next year. No need for anyone to move on. The Mullet is just conflicted. He has a love/hate thing going on with UNCW basketball....

Yemi will remain on scholarship and finish out this year. I cannot see how he ends up playing again, although i'd love to see him on the court again. We would have several more wins with him starting at center.
