UK 89 Ole Miss 86 - Franko - 01-06-2015 10:10 PM

OT in Lexington and I thought the Rebels might pull it out. This is the same Ole Miss WKU beat in Oxford by 7.

I reeeeeeealy wanted for ole miss to pull that out! Ole Miss is a very good team and has played a good schedule on the road, that was a great win for WKU on the road

I know Ole Miss played well but the kats got some breaks for sure. The usual head scratching foul calls in Rupp, Moody couldn't play with cramps in OT, and the Harrison's go 7-12 from deep compared to their usual 3 for 15. 03-puke
.
Oh yea 40 free throws compared to 22 for the Rebs.

Sick to my stomach Ole Miss couldn't pull it off.....Hopefully though this cools the talk of this team being freaking invincible...They still may win it all, but all of this talk of not losing a game and beating NBA teams is ridiculous...

If you have no idea about college basketball and tuned into ESPN for 1 min., you would think why are they playing games now, just hand the trophy to UK...

I guess since we beat Ole Miss at their place by 7 and they lost to UK by 3, we are >UK...

I, being a Mississippi native, would have been sick if Kentucky had lost to Mississippi. The Wildcats must have been looking ahead...

You took the words right out of my mouth. Yes I agree it would've helped WKU but being a USM fan I can't justify cheering for Ole Miss to win in any sport.

Our girls team beat down Ole Miss by 30 and UKs womens team struggled to beat them by 4 Sunday and now the men struggled against them, haha...We really get up for Mississippi teams apparently...FOr our men before beating Ole Miss, last SEC win was vs. MIss St....Then we knocked off Southern Miss last season...

Understood, and that's the way (true) WKU fans feel about UK. Total distain for anything that has to do with them.

Ole Miss' leading scorer, Moody, transferred from FAU during the Jarvis exodus.

Nothing against FAU, but how in the world did you guys get a Parade All American like Moody to come to FAU? That guy has the highest Vertical on jump shot of anyone I have ever watched...

That talk should have been over when they were down by 2 at halftime to COLUMBIA.

You live in North Carolina? I was stationed there for 2 1/2 years and learned to loathe the Tar Heels due to their arrogant fans.

Take the Carolina fans......juice 'em up on the equivalent of steroids......throw money around like a 19 year old nba player in a strip club....and you have what we're putting up with in the commonwealth right now.

I've been through several Wildkayutt eras and this may be the worst as far as their fans go. Fortunately these eras usually are followed by some type of shame and sanctions.

Edit: just saw you live in Va. Maybe you don't know Carolina fans. Sorry.

No offense taken. We've had solid basketball recruits for a while now. Just got a three star, a Georgia Tech transfer, and a Clemson transfer. Coach Jarvis just found a way to screw everything up. Leading scorer at Ole Miss, FIU, and Manhattan all came from FAU. Come to our campus and check out our coeds, then try getting 18 year old boys from everywhere North of Tampa & Orlando to not come to Boca.
