LOL I doubt a single UH fan thinks we're going to win, if they do, they're on crack. But I'll be happy for a win nonetheless. This season is mostly about Sampson establishing a program than it is anything else. We're playing with a bunch of last second juco guys. So any win is good one.

thats not the case..i think most of think we have a chance...but we need stiggers to shoot well... he shoots a ton if he is hot, we can beat memphis..this isnt the memphis of old ..
we beat very good nit worthy, t-tech and murray st..but lost to a horrific ark pine (who t-tech beat by 62)..the difference is whether Stiggers is hot outside the 3

I am going to have to agree with dezagcoog. Memphis has us outclassed across the board. Coach Sampson does have this team to where they hustle and play hard. That might help us to keep it with 20 and if the Coogs do that, I will be happy.

I never said we could not win. I said that none of us think we WILL win. Anyone can win on any given day. And Sampson is doing a great job, but realistically if you think we WILL win, then you're not paying attention.

On paper, it was about as good of a hire that we could make, we just have no talent right now. I'll let you know in 2-3 years.

Now this is more of what I expected. Memphis running and us stumbling around on offense.
We do look better with Rose playing, but not much better. This team needs to attack the basket better instead of chunking up threes.

When he can get some decent talent, they will be contending.
