At the banquet a few weeks ago, one of the assistant coaches told me that it is supposed to be completed by next December.

If you haven't been to the south campus recently, do yourself a favor and drive by. The new dorms are going to be awesome, the new IPF and BBall facility are going to be amazing IMO. As nice as any in the conference.

It would be nice to have the south campus on one end, the main campus on the other, and dorms, housing, parking, etc in between.

I don't see how it's done by next December if ground isn't broken until the spring. Frankly, I'll be surprised if they break ground before next December. Weren't the originally saying summer 2014, then fall/winter 2014?

No Stammers, I do not....The original plans Designs, were tweeked...Original didn't include coaches offices, nor did it have the Nutrition Bar, Plus the Players Lounge is gonna be upgrade a bit further....Then designs were submitted to two different firms...We will be going to the Big 12, with Cincy, and this is to be completed by December next year...No worries Coach General Justin Fuente, and Football, and right People have us heading where we needed to be....University of Memphis, Delta's Team....The World Is Ours Memphis.....

A soccer field will in no way fit inside an indoor track. Indoor tracks are only 200 meters vs 400 meters for the outdoor variety.
Last I heard, the plan for soccer was to build new grandstands on either side of the existing track and include locker rooms and such inside those structures.

A big chunk of the IPF will be pre-engineered metal building. So it won't take long to actually construct that part of the building.
The IPF, is in the final design stage. The last I heard.
