If I remember hearing this correctly from a local high school basketball guy....Green's final two were Cincy and ODU.

Not sure how Evans, Green, and Haynes are, but we definitely need a deadeye 3 point shooter.

From all accounts I have seen BJ Stith is a long range sharp shooter, and Evans can fill it up from the 3 as well. Another 3 pt. shooter would be great, or we might be able to use a big who can give us valuable minutes down low when B Stith, or Taylor get into foul trouble like last night. Someone to fill Biberaj's role.

As for the scholarship math, I think it's safe to say we have at least one, maybe more.

Well, as ODUBB35 foreshadowed, we need a deadeye 3 point shooter. The trouble is I doubt there are many left in this class.
Man, I hate getting jerked around lile this, but ODU had no good choice but to release him and bar him from other CUSA schools.

It'll be interesting to see where he ends up. I hope that ODU did their homework on the reported family reason. I have no reason to believe that it's not what he says it is and that he wants to stay close to home because of it.
I would hope that if it wasn't a verifiable family reason and it's something shady like has been mentioned that ODU wouldn't let him out of his NLI. This isn't a recruit giving a verbal commitment and then changing his mind on signing day. If this was a case of Evans suddenly realizing that he could play at a bigger program and so he wants out, I wouldn't budge. Either he honored his commitment and played for ODU or he didn't play basketball at all. That's not how the real world works.

I hate to say it, but "I told ya so." This kid's high school career has been riddled with leaving teams high and dry. I didn't trust his commitment for a second.

So that leaves us with two scholarships. Who else is out there PG-wise? May need to look for another transfer. I'm not sold that Caver is the answer but we'll see.
