Hopefully that is changing. Seems the CUSA commish is optimistic about increasing exposure. She called it "fantastic". The money on the other hand simply sucks.
he's coming from Coppin State. I doubt TV exposure is really going to sway him one way or another. he's going to go to the best school where he will get a lot of playing time. that does not put ODU in the front or the back of the line in his choices, IMO.

Exposure should be the top priority at this point. The money is so low now at 300k that it is not worth nearly as much as exposure.

It's not where he came from, it's where he thinks he's going after this coming season. Our TV package is horrible. Kids want to be seen, especially after playing before sparse crowds and no TV their whole career.

If he was looking for playing time he would stay at Coppin. The kid must be looking for a step up in competition and exposure.

Still have Kah, Porter, Taylor, Stith, and Vassor up front - Kah, Porter, Taylor and Stith would have probably gotten the minutes any way. Maybe find another serviceable grad transfer big man. I see Colbert maybe playing down a level so he will not have to sit out again.

Yeah. Hopefully we hear about some additions soon instead of subtractions. Seems like we're having trouble closing some deals in this late signing period.

We are actually looking pretty dang solid across the board. Plus a friend who knows his basketball told me that recent signee Travis Fields is a lot like Brandon Johnson with more offense and tough as nails. Looking good across the board IMO but who knows, maybe we get someone else. The Martin twins are in next weekend.

The end of the Spring signing period doesn't mean much. These players can simply commit and register for classes. No need to sign a LOI.

Aline picked up Isiah Thomas his first year late in the spring. He turned out to be a great addition.
