Well, that's one more bowl team on Florida State's resume. I wonder how many places they will fall in the cfp because of this. 07-coffee3

Pretty impressive on the part of Oklahoma State.

The BigTen just got a little worried. Its still a long shot, buts its possible a BigTen team thats elligible won't go bowling.

Big Ten folks should be more happy about the fact that Oklahoma losing weakens the Big 12 resume. Right now FSU is losing to GT so...it may come down to a comparison of Ohio State and Baylor.

Woot! Go Pokes!!!!

Yes, the math at 81 is harder than the math at 80 ... especially since the Big12 was looking like the primary source of unfilled bowl spots. The likelihood of one of the bottom tier Big12 bowls taking an "at-large" Big Ten school is higher the more opportunities there are to monkey around with it to engineer an open spot where the back up agreement cannot be filled in.

And Ohio State is presently making their case that a bigger, stronger third string pass-run QB is a useful replacement for a Heisman trophy candidate 2nd string pass-run QB. That scoreline makes a Big Ten school sitting home more likely, since if Wisconsin won, there was a chance of three Big Ten schools playing in the CFP system bowls, while OSU winning likely leaves only two Big Ten schools in CFP system bowls.
