Hey guys, new member here, '11 NIU grad. I don't know if anyone ever brought this up before but on that night, after we handed Fresno a can of whoop a** in the humanitarian bowl, snow began to fall on the smurf turf. But this wasn't just any snowfall, it was different. To me, at least, it felt like something magical was going to happen from that point on. Even though we had lost against Miami (OH) in the MACC, making a statement that night was just the beginning of what was to come. The gentle snowfall during the trophy ceremony, the excitement of the players, the energy just pulsating was a sight to remember.
As I watched our team dismantling them falcons, I couldn't help but smile in how far they've come and how proud I am to be a Huskie. Anyways, I figured I just share that with y'all. And as always, Tuck Foledo!

Ya, cool thought. That Tuke led moment with a bunch of vet players and skilled young guys did seem to be that "we've arrived and ain't going nowhere" moment.

That win showed so much character, and showed what kind of quality players and people we have. It set the table for an incredible 2011 season. We always will owe thanks to Tuke. Maybe we will see him again.

At first, I thought you were talking about when we whomped Fresno in 1990 at Huskie Stadium. I was in Rockford listening on the radio and had people looking at me wondering what kind of episode I was having while losing my mind.

Kansas State 1990 for me (old timer here!) Interception then Stacey Robinson ran one in for a win w. less than a minute left. Wish I had video of that game
