Don't understand booing Tarik. He gave it three years at Memphis and, unfortunately, never really improved. He might not have gotten a shot at the pros if he hadn't transferred. I like Pastner but he has certainly been underwhelming in the player development area. Just my opinion.

He was playing on the Rockets. He came in the game early when the game wasn't over yet. Stokes scored his 1st points in the NBA.

He was developed so well at Kansas he didn't get drafted. He will be a decent backup big man in the NBA with his size and the more physical play. He played okay tonight but the Rockets don't have many big men options

Jarnell Stokes, a native Memphian, acquitted himself very well tonight. He had a couple buckets.
As I said and mean, I really hope the true Tiger fans on this message board came out to support two former Tigers who gave it their all for us.
There was no issue with the weather or the rain, as this game was played indoors in the FedExForum.

I wouldn't boo, but I don't fault those who did either. Also, he didn't exactly set the world on fire at KU, so I don't follow the "See how Pastner ruined him and held him back" logic some posters have pushed before.

Maybe he shouldn't have held a press conference in Tiger gear to announce he was transferring after being a constant source of frustration during his time here. This is sports, we get to not like guys if we want to.

He got benched after two seasons being a starter. Let the Big Dog Eat remember. He got his degree. Why should he come back? I don't blame him. Not saying he didn't deserve to be benched. He was a foul machine.
I can't blame him for looking for a change of scenery though.

People have a right to voice their opinions especially when you are in the pro league. Respect has to be earned. It is what it is. I think almost all tiger fans have respect for joey dorsey. He gave us everything he had and never quit.
