A. We Blow the Shockers out
B. We win in a close one
C. We lose but it's close (lose by 5 or less)
D. We get the crap beat out of us

Depends on whether CBU was a WAKE UP CALL or the start of a season filled with newcomers. It will certainly tell more about where this team is than what we saw with just the CBU game. The Canada games need to be brought into this process too. We did OK, but not wonderful there. It is so early and the loss is experienced guards was so great....no telling where we really are right now. If we lose to W. State by 20, I will not be surprised. It just means there is a lot of work left to be done.

B. and C. Either is probable. Question: If the either team wins by 6 or more is that considered a 'blowout'?
D. Possible, but very doubtful

Based on Pastner's record vs ranked opponents, I say there is a 70% chance Memphis loses. My guess is they get rocked. But Wichita St has good players and a good coach. Winning is hard.

Me personally I have never considered winning or losing by six a blow out. Losing by 20 is generally thought of as getting blown out. I would say losing by 18 or more is getting blown out. So now what do you think, it's just for fun.

WSU was a Final 4 caliber team the last 2 years and has a lot of those key guys back.
We have 10 newcomers and its our season opener.

Actually WSU has lost many of the key pieces on those two teams- Armstead, Hall and Early.
I say Tigers win close. The frontline advantage is staggering if they feed the post and play like men.

yes, I hear ya, I am not to thrilled about the time. We pick our sons up from school at three, but have to be in line at 2. So we are trying to figure out how to do it right now.

Armstead and Hall were starters on the FF team.
Anthony was the stud on last years team and eventual draft pick.
