It would be nice to give Steve Cluely some protection so he has an extra moment to throw the ball. The Elon game it was good to see how often he found Ballard and with so much attention given Tre this obviously gives us more for the D to think about. The O line has been banged up pretty bad this year and hopefully these guys can heal up a bit for this game .
The Tribe Football family lost a long time fan this past week in Harold DuVal and it would be nice to win a big game for him

Craig Haley has us losing to Towson. Let's hope we can break the streak. He is 10-0 on his Tribe picks this year. He also has Richmond winning. Hope he is wrong on both.

Despite the hatred many have of the TSN rankings, I think Craig Haley usually has pretty good rhyme and reason to his weekly picks. That being said he probably didn't look too close at this one. He probably sees MAS getting tired after some big weeks and a passing game that had a hot homecoming game against a Nova team that isn't the best against a pass heavy offense. That combined with what on paper was a very mediocre performance against Elon (okay in person it wasn't overwhelming, but we shot ourselves in the foot and had some silly mistakes to keep it close) and I maybe see his logic. Whatever though, let's prove him wrong and keep the playoff hopes alive.

Regardless of the playoffs this team has a chance to go a solid 8-4 with winning efforts in the remaining two regular season games. I believe our playoff chances are extremely slim, but, while 8-4 is short of what we hoped for, it's a pretty good season.
Realistically, it's tough when you lose two games against top teams you should have won and, basically, threw away.

I agree with your last comment, but we never should have won that game against Stoney Brook either. Ballard's play was a fluke with defenders falling down. Things even themselves out over the course of the year.
Having watched them pretty much every week live or on TV/Internet I can say that this team is a team that should compete every week, but is missing the next gear to dominate the opponent.
