Week 11 Thoughts:

-Huge week with several teams pushing hard to become Rose Bowl/Sugar Bowl contenders and others likely falling out of the race.

-All 3 of our undefeated teams won. The one with a very tough match-up was Alabama who played at LSU. The Tide drove down the field late for a field goal to tie it 13 all and send it into overtime where they won. Sportsbook.ag odds now has them as the favorite to win the national title at 7/2.

-In the games involving 1 loss teams, we saw one of the strangest plays I’ve ever seen with Utah thinking they scored vs. Oregon and celebrate, but with the ball coming out early and Oregon running it all the way back easily for a touchdown. Oregon won the game and now is 4/1 to win the national tittle.
-We saw Ohio State score a lot on Michigan State’s defense to eliminate the Spartans and come away with the game (now 6/1 to win national title).
-Arizona State meanwhile knocked off the Irish and setting up for what could be a great PAC-12 title game vs. Oregon.
-In another strange game, Auburn seemed to be rolling at the end of the game vs. Texas A&M, but fumbled once on what would have been the go ahead touchdown and then again with a spike that was just too early and lost to the Aggies.
-TCU played fellow 1-loss Kansas State in what was their most difficult Big 12 game left and dominated. Very good chance TCU is at least co-champs at this point.
-Also in the Big 12, Baylor looked great against Oklahoma and remains with 1 loss.

-Winless SMU was in the game vs. Tulane, but fell short.

-Group of 5 bid: Not much change with all the undefeated/1-loss/2-loss teams winning.

Week 12 Thoughts:

-Our undefeated games this week are big. We have undefeated Mississippi State @ 1-loss Alabama. Mississippi State is a 7 point home underdog in this one. Undefeated Florida State travels to Miami (FL). The Hurricanes have looked somewhat improved and the Seminoles are only a 2.5 favorite. Marshall hosts Rice and is a 20 point favorite.

-With our other 1-loss teams (1-loss with a *) we have: Ohio State* @ Minnesota, Virginia Tech @ Duke*, TCU* @ Kansas, Nebraska* @ Wisconsin, Arizona State* @ Oregon State.
-From this list, the most likely to lose based on odds is Nebraska who is a 6 point underdog.
-Other things: Wisconsin vs. Nebraska could well be for the west divisional title. Minnesota is very much in the running too though and killed Iowa last week. Will be interesting to see how they do vs. Ohio State.

-Winless SMU hosts South Florida. If SMU pulls one off, it’s more than likely going to be this week or in the season-ender @UConn.
