Hope we have a good crowd Friday at LB for an all-too-infrequent occurence - Herff Tiger - 10-27-2014 10:13 PM
On Nov. 24, 2007 at the Liberty Bowl, the Tigers beat SMU 55-52 in 3 OT's to reach the mark of 7-5.
That was the last time we were 2 games over .500.
Prior to that, on Dec. 26, 2005 at Ford Field in Detroit, the Tigers defeated Akron 38-31 to end the season at 7-5.
In 2004, 2003, 2001, and 2000 we reached 2 games over .500, making 6 times in 19 seasons since 1994. The 2004 season saw the Tigers reach 5-1, the highest win-loss percentage since 1967's 5-1. (at least 6 games played, we were 3-0 in 1973 and 2004)

I, like you hope for the same. However, there are circumstances that might hinder the turnout. Eric church concert, Halloween events, and high school football are some that come to mind. I will be there having a great time, but i do understand the demands of things on people.

I am at high school football on Friday nights. I am on the chain crew and its the last home game before the playoffs.

No one will care because it's Halloween. We will get a pass on attendance and other folks at parties will be happy there is football on TV.

You should be able to find free tickets for this game on Tiger Lane. Show up a little early in your Tiger gear and someone will help you out. You can park for free in the neighborhood across Parkway (west of TL).

Our tailgate crew is actually going to be a bit larger than usual. Hopefully this will be the case for others. Why not have your Halloween party on Tiger Lane?

This. i have been really surprised at all the negativity concerning this game. Its a great opportunity for a tailgate.
Course, I also have never understood why anyone who doesn't have a kid playing would ever attend a high school football game. So there is that.

I'm usually at the CBHS games on Friday nights. That is, unless the Tigers are playing. We'll have our usual large tailgate group and looking forward to a fun time on Tiger lane and some Tiger football. The weather is going to be perfect football weather with no rain in sight. I expect the crowd to be in the 35-40,000 range....GO TIGERS!!!!
