Western Kentucky has a prolific passing offense. Right now they are 2nd in the nation in passing yards, and 8th in "points for"
This team, like ODU passes first and rushes 2nd.
QB Doughty is close to a 70% passer with a 155 QB rating to date.
The good news is that he is NOT a dual threat. This may be our only saving grace.
This team put up 718 yards on MTSU
WKU's passing D is suspect and we may be able to run as well..
For all of you old school football purists, this appears to be shaping up as a classic defenseless struggle!
Based on the WKU play vs Middle Tennessee, AND, our history of poor play after a bye, WKU 55, ODU 49 in the shootout.

I disagree with that. We have a much better running game than they do. We have a much better pass defense then they do.
They are better at passing the ball and we are about even when stopping (or trying to stop) the run.
This game is an away game so they have the edge there, but I think this teams are about equal with their only advantage is their passing offense.
Believe it or not, but we have a better defense than them.
