Marshall posters, there is no need to justify your schedule to anyone. - BamaScorpio69 - 10-15-2014 04:52 AM

Your focus should be on your next game. Your team is ranked and all that matters now is that the Herd keep winning. Do that and everything else will take care of itself.

ECU isn't going to move up much further in the polls but teams below them will continue to lose a game or two. Marshall still has room to move up and when the next ECU loss happens, the Herd will be there to seize the opportunity. Stop worrying about what the AAC'ers are saying because there is no winning an argument with them on their board.

If the AAC wants to brag about victories over the dregs of the P5, let them have their day. Lord knows they need something to hang their hats on this football season.

Go Herd.

I hope that Marshall does "cease" the opportunity.

I once made a comment about ECU fans having an alert that goes off whenever someone mentions Marshall.

It was originally a joke, but now I'm starting to wonder...

The pressure is only going to continue escalate as each undefeated week piles up.

We live in an age of social media where every wart is blown up to the size of Mt. Everest. Not the genteel days when a BYU could run the table in a mediocre WAC, play indepents and Miss. Valley opponents OOC, then play a 6-5 Michigan in a Bowl game and be declared MNC.

Anyways, you'll probably lose in the C-USA CG and this will have all been for naught. 04-rock

You going to the game tomorrow?

Suddenly FIU isn't a gimme game. Depending on which UAB shows up that game could prove to be a nail biter.

Id imagine being a poster here, he would be one of the 200 fiu fans in attendance. Interested to see how many MU fans make it. Guessing 1500

Yeah, because Houston had a tougher schedule including playing a P5 opponent OOC.

You got outplayed in the first half, he never claimed FIU would win, go home.

I think Marshall has a great team this year. Seriously.

The problem is that there has not been, and will not be, a single game on the schedule that can grab the national attention. Say what you want about ECU but those VT/UNC wins grabbed attention even if those teams aren't world beaters.

It's a shame because it would have been great to see what Cato could do on the road against an ACC or SEC team.

Or even on the road against ECU. It was scheduled, but the Pirates bailed on hosting Marshall so they could get USF and SMU in conference instead.

In what world does 14-7 equate being outplayed? They ran on us for a quarter and then we adjusted and shut them down for 42 minutes till the junk TD in the late fourth.. They led the game for about 1 minute of game time and we tied it and subsequently took the lead and never looked back. I think you've somehow confused your pathetic performances in the last couple games with our dominating ones.

Telling CUSA fans to go home on our board isn't going to get you very far. And that includes your drive-by trolling yesterday on your bye week.

LOL someone has never heard of an expression. My "drive-by trolling"? Like what? Having a conversation that didn't include you bringing up ECU when it has no relevance to the conversation is trolling?

Since you avoided the point, you're talking trash to a fan of a team who never said anything about beating Marshall, and you act like he said Marshall sucks.

Also your dominating performances? I think Doc Holliday would disagree, Marshall has been far from perfect. Marshall is talented enough to beat their last two opponents 56-7.

Did you not watch the Military Bowl last year?

Was at the game Saturday night and Marshall looked great. Big running back with tons of speed and huge possesion tight end and huge wide outs with great hands and a QB with all the tools. Just plain scary. We had some mental lapses in the middle of the field which allowed for huge gains but that can be attributed to Marshall just having too many weapons for our Safety to worry about.

Was at both the Louisville and Marshall games, and we are a much better team than we were in week 4 (esp. on offense) and I can unequavically say that Marshall is a much better team than the Cardinals this year. Simply too many weapons.

The Herd are just too well coached to allow for any let-downs. They're just simply a juggernaught this year.

The moved conferences and thus had to play their actual new conference schedule.
