it sure didn’t take long for some nutty liberal to start crying racism about Ebola. David Quammen says we have a responsibility to allow Ebola-stricken visitors from Liberia into the United States because the country was created by our slave trade.

Beginning in 1820, thousands of freed African-American slaves colonized a patch of western Africa with the help of prominent American abolitionists. They named that nation ”Liberia,” modeling their flag and political institutions after the United States.
America is always targeted as the greatest sinner in the slave trade, but most critics purposely ignore the role of other countries including non-European nations. And how is it better for us to expose ourselves to a dangerous virus instead of containing it?

Okla, in the Richard Simmons room you'll be called a hater and a bigot for posting the words that liberals actually say. But if slavery is such an abomination here in 2014, then we need to send back to Liberia anyone who feels resentment and thinks they'd be better off there than here. If the ancestors of slaves feel they are getting the short end of the stick by living here in the USA, then what's stopping them from being reunited with their long lost families?
How long ago was slavery and how many slaves died? Now remind me again how long ago the holocaust was and how many Jews died.

What a freaking MORON!!!! The UK and France have already banned travelers from the West African region from entering their countries. Impossible to track?!? That's what a passport is for. I thought Anderson Cooper claimed to be smart.

We reached the tipping point under Obama. More Americans wait for their government check than pay into system. There is no going back.
The libs goal of an America where over 50% of the electorate can be classified as "low information voters" has been achieved.

I don't know if the exact percentage is 50%. But whether it's 52% or 48%, the point is that we now have so many people in favor of big government to keep their payments coming and we have relatively few people who favor traditional, limited government.
And I don't see that trend ever reversing.
