Understandable. Ark State has had good years in the Sun Belt to be a tough mid-major (haven't followed them tho). But Arkansas trying to get their sh!t together the past couple years, understandably wouldn't want to play Ark State quite yet. To them it's probably "too soon"?

I've been shocked Illinois never played NIU in recent years, tho. Shocking. WMU has played Illinois more recently than NIU has!

WMU & CMU plays Michigan State or Michigan about every other year. Next year, Michigan State plays IN Kalamazoo AT WMU.

Yes, the Mich government got involved and ordered the 2-1 to happen between MI St and EMU/CMU/WMU.

Big schools don't come to MAC stadiums because they won't make any money... a MAC school will PAY them to come once in a while, so to speak. The problem is they're scared of playing the MAC team on the wrong year at THEIR stadium when their fans are going to be rocking like crazy. They want to avoid an upset. MSU picked a good set of years to go away for a 2-for-1.

True. And we also have a grass field section in a corner which adds to that official/unofficial seating.
