There was confusion when Vandy did it. Rutgers has done it in past seasons without incident as have several other schools. USF was denied this year. Maryland has "Triumph" on their jerseys in today's game. What's the real rule about this? I have no idea. I thought the statement after the USF ruling was pretty definitive and would put an end to it, but today's Maryland uniforms would seem to contradict that policy.

I liked it when the schools played against, and honored the Service Academies. Otherwise it is silly.

I thought UMD's gimmick jersey and helmets looked like a straight up Navy reject/alternative to the 2010 Army game unis. Those were good...UMD's not so much.
