I was wondering what is the reason we play three teams in the East Division every year. We should reduce to two games because the attendance is generally poor for those games. Why not reduce to two games and play another out of Conf game to increase attendance or reduce our games to 11. I wonder if we actually make money for the games with the East Division?

It's temporary. When Charlotte starts playing C-USA football (which I think is next year), expect UAB to move to the West and everybody to play only 2 crossover games.
Not that most of our division mates historically draw well either.
An 11 game schedule is just not going to happen.
