We know that Kroger is a big target for armed robberies with some
of their steak prices. Guess some customers want to be robbers instead
of robbed.

I wouldn’t put too much value in the poll results, Kroger shoppers are the
people that willingly signed up for a Kroger Card just to pay regular price.

True story, I was at Kroger while in Columbus. I don't have their card b/c there are no Krogers near me. But the manager told me to try one of my other grocery store cards, as they often work.
Ta da! It did.
So, I've done that often: gotten the discount w/o using that store's exact card.

That's a nice trick.
This past weekend at Buckeye Lake was the first time I’ve been in a Kroger since they
started their “membership” card program. There is no discount, it simply allows the
user to pay their regular price while they collect marking/demographics from the users.
