We need 45k minimum for MTSU game.. and a big win. This will be a huge and pivotal game for the program.

Agreed. I hope Coach Fuente can keep all the smoke-blowers, "Rah! Rah!" types, and childish, self-serving Memphis media figures from interfering with the team's psyche and disrupting the mindset that led to last night's performance.

We will have a good crowd if the weather is half way decent. There are a lot of people getting excited. Memphis has always had support back into the 70s (limit of my familiarity with the program) if they put a decent team on the field.

I think the bye week for this week helps Memphis in two ways:
1) Sufficient down time to rest, heal the injured like Ifedi, and continue to focus on fine tuning the fundamentals, plus put this UCLA game behind them and look ahead.
2) Forces Memphis fans to go through a week of withdrawal and rebuild the enthusiasm for the home game on 9/20. You tend to miss what you don't have.
