For Appalachian State, it's a lot. - Unpredictable weather: yeah, the Weather Channel is great, but it's never completely accurate in Boone. You can see all four seasons in one day throughout the year here. - Breathtaking views... even from our stadium. - Awesome downtown/college-town atmosphere. - Great side trips that offer something for everybody. - Some loud, rowdy, and sometimes obnoxious, fans that will blow you away with sound inside The Rock. - Some of the friendliest and most welcoming fans you will ever meet.
