Weaker foot, and tried to place it.

I'm sorry but I'm blaming Baines here. He is THE penalty taker if he's on the field, if someone other then him takes it then it's his fault for letting the, replace him.

I think it should've been Lukakau. I mean who's going to say no to him.

But seriously I think Baines is just a soft spoken guy, and was trying to not cause drama, and it ended up backfiring.

Burkina Faso and Equitorial Guinea draw 0-0 in a ugly game

If those two are playing a soccer game, I think it's a 100% chance of being an ugly soccer game.

Guess that's why he's no longer captain...

The times Ive watched Equatorial Guinea they looked half decent, but it was really a Friendly atmosphere

Mourinho applauding the Anfield faithful? Perhaps he isn't a total, utter scumbag after all. He also said if Stamford Bridge can give Chelsea 25% of what Anfield gives Liverpool, he likes their chances.

The Bridge needs to be expanded. The issue is all the international fans coming in and not know what to do or the chants. They are working expanding to 55,000, but it is a long road with things things to clear along the way. It is bad when we are louder away from home than at the Bridge. Especially when the Bridge could be one of the hardest place to play.

I love Mourinho, but that is his way of saying that there's no way Liverpool draw Chelsea except for the crowd. Always look on the other side of the coin.

Meh, that's a stretch even for him. Chelsea got ran out of the stadium, and were incredibly lucky to get a draw.

All the more reason for him to say it. Mind games

Swans purchase Kyle Naughton from Spurs. He's not much, but considering our backup at RB is a U21 starter, we need all the help we can get.

Tunisia beats Zambia 2-1. Zambia should've won, but they wasted too many chances

One less competitor for Yedlin to get some time. I hope that when (I guess "if" could be used here too) Spurs are out of CL contention they play him, just to see how he stacks up in the BPL.

He's in England now right?

MLS Season is over now, I think the terms were he transferred in full once the season was done. So he's over there now. Should be interesting if they use him or find another loan area for him for the rest of this season with the last week of the window.

I hope he does go out on loan to a championship side if he's not going to play. We wouldn't have a spot for him unless he played as a winger. Our RB is 19, and honestly I haven't seen as good of a player come out of our academy since Robbie Keane,

Yeah, he needs time, and he's the type of player that could make a significant impact in the Championship. There aren't many people with his kind of athleticism at that level of the pyramid.

Ghana beats Algeria 1-0. The little bit I was able to watch, was really good

US U-20's plays El Salvador Saturday at 5ET on Fox Soccer Plus. They win and they're in the World Cup, they lose and they're not.
