PJ Fleck article - tampabayrocketfan - 07-24-2014 02:47 PM

I wanted to post this because we now have a new champion of winning the recruiting championships. In this story he states that 14 true freshman will start for WMU. Also as the WMU board states they didnt build a new facility, they renovated one and he is always spin spin spin! Although he credits his inspiration to Coach Novak, so that part of the story I do like, because he was my favorite coach at NIU.

This is part joke part serious. I don't know if he did, but I wouldn't be surprised if he graduated from NIUs top 10 national sales program.

I honestly don't know what his major was. I was shocked when he said he's going to start 14 true freshman, he must really not believe in his current players, oversold too much, or is hoping to just build experience.

A 2004 graduate of Northern Illinois in elementary education, Fleck and his wife, the former Tracie Striebel, annually host the P.J. Fleck "Live Your Dream" Football Camp that benefits the Juvenile Arthritis Foundation (Friends of Carra), Alapecia Foundation (Locks of Love), Coach Kill's Cancer Fund and the P.J. Fleck Scholarship Fund.

What facilities did they renovate and how much did it cost?

A bold headline, and I expected some context or further quotes in the 'meat' of the article, but there are none. So I don't know if it was an off-the-cuff remark to illustrate that a good number of newbies might get to start at some point, or if he literally and specifically meant "14" true freshmen are starting.

I lean toward the former, because I don't think any HC has an exact number in mind before August.

Ha, thanks for the information. Found out the dude blocked me on twitter when I saw all this pj talk I checked out his twitter and hit follow lol. I think I made fun of his use of the word elite making NIU alums sound stupid with using the vernacular incorrectly.
