I don't think the AAC is hurt too much on the recruiting trail by not being part of the P5. As a group of football schools the AAC consists of members who have been past of outright major conferences in the past like the Big East or SWC and tweener independents likes Memphis, ECU and Navy.

Schools that have been traditionally considered as part of that Top 80 club and accepted alternatives to playing at lower tier SEC/B1G/ACC schools. The labels have changed to P5/G5 but someone has to be that 6th best conference and the AAC with each season is starting to pull away from the pack.

Basically agreed...they will assume the role that Big East had for the most part. I see them with good talent evaluation select teams to be able to compete for the Top 25...rarely the Top 10.

RE: Hey JML: Recruiting Class Rankings - Miami (Oh) Yeah ! - 06-29-2014 09:46 AM

Western Michigan #49
College of Clifton, Cincinnati #50
Miami O #58
ECU #85
UConn #94

Gonna pass Clifton along with half the MAC

MAC out-recruiting AAC according to conference ratings. MAC highest rated out of MWC, AAC, SBC, C-USA

That's true. They also have the financial ability to pay coaches 2 or 3 million dollars so they'll stick around and build programs. If they can average 2 Top 25 finishers in football every year they'll be able to reopen that TV contract and possibly attract BYU to get even stronger. Unless they get raided first of a few programs.

I think I would wait until signing date before bragging about my recruiting. It's like bragging about football rankings in June.

Why even post this??? You are embarrassing the UC fanbase.

Bushleague much? What is wrong with you Bearcats#1? No UC fan should give 2 hoots about Tech's recruting, especially if you are talking ratings which aren't exactly the pinnacle of accuracy.

RE: Hey JML: Recruiting Class Rankings - NBPirate - 06-29-2014 01:41 PM

Using Scout for recruiting? Lol, I didn't even know that site still existed. They base it all on who has the most subscriptions. 247 is the best around.

Kliff won't tolerate that crap and he was immediately kicked off the team. He might find a home in Waco or Dallas.

Both sides ( AAC and JML) need to keep from posting bait threads. I'm closing this since it's only going to lead nowhere.
