Justin Allen, former Rice LB, is organizing a Rice Letterman Deep Sea Fishing Trip this summer as we get prepared for the 2014 season. Please see the details and registration below....
Come join all former and future Rice Letterman as we get set to kick off the 2014 season! All proceeds will be donated to Rice Football!
Who: All Rice Football Letterman and Rice Coaches
When: Saturday July 26, 2014; 7am-5pm
Where: Williams Party Boat Pier 19 Galveston, TX 77550
Registration: Only 75 fishing spots! Please see the attached registration form
Cost: $150
Sponsorship opportunities available!
Come join all former and future Rice Letterman as we get set to kick off the 2014 season! All proceeds will be donated to Rice Football!

I am glad the invite is open to all Rice football supporters, but the seasickness that accompanied my first (and last) deep sea fishing trip is not something I want to experience again. The seasickness took me by surprise, too, since I have been on sailboats, cruise ships, ferries, and other kinds of boats without incident.

Have you ever tried using Dramamine? I usually take some before I go offshore and never have any problems...

Received the following email today:
Rice Fishing Trip 2014 was a great success! I wanted to thank everyone who was involved and those who came out and caught all these fish.
All together we we're able to donate almost $2500 in the inagural year of this event with plenty of room to grow as we continue to get more letterman invovled in the years to come!
A special thank you to our sponsors and the Rice coaching staff for helping make this event a reality. I look forward to seeing everyone back next year!
