Notre Dame's highest paid employee in 2013 was... - Hokie4Skins - 05-21-2014 02:42 PM

...Charlie Weis. That on top of the $2M a year he's stealing from Kansas.

He is THE WORST. Or "the best", depending how you want to look at it.

I want to hire Charlie's agent.

If only I could get paid millions not to work.

Funny thing is I think we just stopped paying Willingham in 2011.

I wonder how many 5 X 2 boxes of sod ND will have to sell to pay off Weis?

I was expecting to see TerryD's name. He is certainly the hardest working ND fan I've seen.

Thanks! I was busy working my day job.

Irony that you ND fans will appreciate:

On the same day it comes out ND is still paying Weis $2.1M/year. RT @dennisdoddcbs: Duke's Kevin White named SBJ AD of the year.

Now you know why the P5 needs 20 million a year in TV cash...to pay 3 coaches simultaneously.

Its perverse for a school like Kansas to keep firing coaches after 2 years when they are at such a competitive disadvantage within the B12

Yeah, I saw that. That award is as meaningful as the two Coach of the Year awards won by Weis and Willingham, both Dr. White hires.

ND waited way too long before running Kevin White off.

BTW, both the football and basketball head coaching hires at Duke pre-date White's tenure, I believe.

So, what did he do to win that award?

I wish Duke fans the best with Kevin White as their AD. When it come time to replace Coach K and David Cutcliffe, look out....

To be fair, he wanted to hire Georgia O'Leary instead of Willingham.

Haha, reminds me of Rafael Palmeiro winning the Gold Glove at 1B that time he was DH most of the season (1999?).

edit - ah yes, 1999 - Palmeiro won the AL Gold Glove at 1B, playing 28 games at 1B and 128 as the DH.
