on expansion: "While we may explore adding a 12th all-sports member join the Sun Belt Conference, at this time we are moving the conference forward with our membership as is," said Sun Belt Conference Commissioner Karl Benson. "Come July 1 the membership will be stable for the first time in over two years with no incoming or departing members. The makeup of that 11 all-sports conference will give us more than just stability - it will give us strength and opportunity."
hoops tournaments stay the same, womens games move to thursday midweek like the men.

Sounds to me like sbc won't take no for an answer from jmu. Another year of stalking and hiding in jmu bushes.

We actually added Lamar two years ago on the condition that they never reveal that they are a member and forego playing a league schedule.

Lamar aint the reason the sbc look like the conference of idiots. Add somebody for a 12th or if a 12th is not in your interest then don't say you want 12. Go back to January, what was the overall plan? add jmu or no one? if so, my post stands.

What Case. Sun Belt football does not need UMASS.

UMASS football does nothing for the Sun Belt.
If UMass could arrange a decent media contract for the Sun Belt
they would have a lot of support for membership.

I like the sbc, better than cusa. I wanted Lamar in the sbc. But my crankyness has nothing to do with Lamar. SBC should have grabbed a 12th. Mo st would have been perfect, yet no contact. WTF. I was glad no mo st because then it could be Lamar. Yet no one.
