Foxnews/CNN is starting to get ridiclious - john01992 - 04-24-2014 08:20 PM

Just flipping between the channels today and tuning in for a couple of min on each channel and it didn't take long for them to start taking shots at each other. I couldn't go 5 min on each channel before they were bashing each other. Kinda ridiculous and it reminds me of a pathetic social media feud between two athletes that ESPN covers from time to time.

I only tune in from time to time just to see what they are talking about. But from the tiny amount of time I spend watching foxnews it doesn't take long to realize why certain right wingers on this forum are so nuts. After being slammed with that cr.ap on a regular basis ==> it makes sense one would have a delusional thought process/take on reality.

All cable news channels have been ridiculous for a number of years. It's not the content, it's the fact that they're trying to explain 5 stories that are highly complex in 30 seconds or less so they can get to the next commercial break. The average joe won't get the full picture.

it's hard enough to do that.....

what i find more disturbing now is that they are always trying to take shots at each other rather than report the damn news.

I don't know what you've been watching JOhn..

cause since 7p.m. I've had O'Reilly (YICK!) and Megyn (whoo-hoo!) on, andI haven't seen one pot shot at CNN/MSNBC yet..

It's been all about Bundy/ the VA Center in Arizona so far on Megyn's show... and since your post claim in at 8:20 p.m. I'd love to know what you're referring to...

I watch Fox daily and never hear them talk about CNN.

Well, if you watch CNN or MSNBC you would think the economy is booming, everyone has a job, Obamacare is great, there is no IRS scandal, the $17 trillion debt doesn't exist, and that there is no such thing as a dangerous black man or Muslim. If you watch Fox, you'll hear that the economy sucks, you'll get the real unemployment numbers, you'll learn there really is an IRS scandal, they'll tell you about the $17 trillion several of your next generations will owe, and that anyone can be dangerous regardless of color or religion.

Yes, they do on occasion, Okla... but so far, there's been NOTHING on Megyn's or Bill's show tonight that was doing what he claimed.. I mean John CLAIMS he's been flipping back and forth, so apparently he's watching some FoxNews channel I"ve never heard of, or he's lying about part of it.

(and i can't say what's on CNN, cause I"m not watching it, so is CNN taking potshots at FOX?)

During the story about the kid who went from cali to hawaii in the wheel well they started blasting CNN for their excessive MH370 coverage. Only reason you can't see it is because they do it casually and always refer to them as "that other network"

RE: Foxnews/CNN is starting to get ridiclious - DaSaintFan - 04-24-2014 08:46 PM

Big deal.. so one network things another spends too much time on a topic.

You could say the same thing about _EVERY_ News network and the Malaysian flights. "new update: We found nothing new!"

they were just interviewing bundy and started ragging on him and fox news for abandoning him. said something along the lines of "Well only reason you are on our show tonight is because fox abandoned you"

then they devoted the next 15 min blasting fox news for their coverage of bundy.

Its more a sour grapes response if anything. CNN improved in their ratings during the first couple of days with MH370. Hence the reason why FNC is so butthurt about their coverage of it.

The first couple of days, john.. I had no problem with CNN's coverage. It was when they and MSNBC and CBS and FOX and NBC and... started talking about it 24/7 when there was nothing new to report.

But.. .to me, John, you just MISSED a huge part of your previous post when they were talking about Bundy.

This is the bit you quoted:
Quote:They were just interviewing bundy and started ragging on him and fox news for abandoning him. said something along the lines of "Well only reason you are on our show tonight is because fox abandoned you"

So they're admitting that an attempted Govt grab of personal property (again, I've not defended Bundy in any of that... so dont' take this as a pro-bundy bit) was not _worth_ primetime news coverage?

That should be raising a red flag to ANYONE who watches CNN, even MORE so than the pot-shots. Hell, Murrow (and I'm no fan of him, but I know what he meant to journalism) should be turning over in his grave!

Nobody really watches either channel when you consider ratings.

It's too bad... MSNBC and Fox have been doing that for years and for all their faults CNN had stayed out of it..

Jo0, you are suffering from a false agenda. You dismiss Zero's lies but harp on fox. 03-lmfao

03-banghead

you can't be in two places at once. The purpose of the comment was to point out "your first choice ditched you so now you are with us"

it had nothing to do with them ignoring the story.

And if federal land counts as personal property then I am gonna go claim Alcatraz as exclusively mine and get a band of armed militiamen to fend off any of those pesky federal agents who say otherwise.

as for MH370

your boy bill was bashing CNN for covering it even in the first couple of days over their coverage of it. This type of shenanigans is not anything new for FNC.......

Dan O'Toole and Jay Onrait took a shot at CNN on Fox Sports Live about CNN's coverage of the airplane wheel well incident.
