Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy, who was involved in a tense standoff with federal rangers in a dispute over grazing rights, didn't hide his racism in an interview with the New York Times published Wednesday.
The Bureau of Land Management claims Bundy has let his cattle graze on federal land without paying since 1993, saying he now owes more than $1 million in grazing fees. When federal agents came to confront Bundy about the fees, they were met by an armed militia, a move that has fired up conservatives.

Generally when people blatantly ignore the law and respond to law enforcement with armed resistance, only bad things happen. I don't think Mr. Bundy should be any different.
As far as I'm concerned, he has been lucky so far. He'd be a fool to press it, especially now that GOP politicians are walking back their support for... whatever it is he's trying to do.

Al Sharpton got a pass on the Tawana Brawley fiasco and that ruined lives and one guy committed suicide over it. Hold Sharpton accountable for what he's done and then we'll talk about a guy who's in the spotlight for things that aren't his doing.
