TL;DR:
-Gavin Stansbury, an Aggie defensive linesman, goes to Hanszen's public party last month.
-Probably gets drunk. Goes back to Jones 4th North afterwards for afterparty.
-Tells Jonesians that he is an A&M football player who is transferring to Rice to play football next year in an apparent attempt to impress them.
-Tries to follow one of the girls into the girl's restroom
-Gets in an argument with a Jonesian, dumps his beer on him, and punches him in the face. Also happens to hit the girl he was creeping on earlier in the process of hitting the guy.
-Other Jonesians separate them, the Aggie leaves, and the guy goes to the ER and gets 8 stitches
-RUPD gets called, they identify him, and he is charged with misdemeanor assault.
-Stansbury claims to police that he was in League City with his girlfriend at the time, doing laundry and cooking red beans and rice.
-Police don't buy it, given the number of witnesses, and he gets arrested and has to post $500 bail.

Wow. You do have to wonder if it would be wise for A&M to play him against Rice next season, regardless of how this plays out in the legal system.

The game is at A&M. He would probably be barred if the game was at Rice because the campus police probably gave him a trespass warning along with assault arrest.

If this was even partially true, I don't think that this an option any longer.
I asked some people at jones and they said it was 2 guys. One (Stansbury) said he was transferring in from A&M and the other said he was coming from michigan. Sounds like a line they were using since they were there when some prospies were.
