I pay for CA digital content. I'm happy with it. Not a bad deal for me. $13.99 monthly. They also just called me and said that for 1 cent more per month, they will deliver the Sunday paper to my home.

I can understand that some folks don't want to pay, so that's fine with me. Just wanted to interject that there are satisfied customers for the service.

Yeah, I have been a subscriber for 34 years. I have gone digital but the wife is still analog. has to have that crossword every morning. Yeah, I know I could print it out for her, but she does not want me to. happy wife..happy life.

Let's face it, they give the best Tiger coverage in town...hands down. No contest. They do a pretty good job at it. But some people just can't handle that they give SEC cover also. It's a business.

If you are still paying 13.99 a month you are getting a bad deal. The new management changed the pricing at the beginning of this year and the digital only subscription is only 4.99 a month.

I was mad that they did not let existing subscribers know this, and cancelled my subscription….but I got another one later from groupon for $26 for a year.

I get it too for $4.99 per month, plus I did take their $ .01 Sunday deal. I had cancelled the hard copy a week ago and kept the digital. They are scrambling to keep that rag alive.

There are other sources for local "NEWS" and elsewhere for really good national/world wide coverage. Just sayin' . 07-coffee3

To me (and a LOT of other people), it's not the SEC and it's not the money, it's the liberal agenda I refuse to subsidize.

Oh, they are far left, but so is most of the media in the USA. I keep my politics separate from my sports. I subscribe just to read the sports section.

The rest of it is wasted on me as I never read it. If my name appears in the obituaries, for instance, I won't see it. I figure someone will let me know if that happens.
