Thanks to sabermetrics everyone now believes they can apply metrics to every other sport. College football is especially difficult to project, because there are so many intangible things you can't put a number on that go into college-aged kids playing football than probably any other sport.

That said, the only question is who will be the QB and will he be serviceable as a first year starter? The line isn't as big of worry to me. Chester actually started early last year before getting hurt, so techincally we have three of the five starters returning and we had so many injuries on the OL that just about everyone on the roster that wasn't redshirting played last year. As to how good they will be as a unit who knows?

Our biggest problem on offense is predictability not the players. Hopefully, Stockstill and Faulker will take a long hard look at themselves and how they're approaching the playcalling this offseason.

I think one of our biggest issues is going to be spreading carries around.

Just Parker/Bryson/Whatley would likely be enough to be one of the top backfields in the conference, add in Tucker if he doesn't take the redshirt he was meant to last year(I'd love to be able to RS him) and/or Thomas who did RS last year and had as much or more hype as Tucker in recruiting two years ago.
