Really thought this guy was going to be a "big visibility" rah-rah leader type. Supposedly high energy w/ "Ono-like" everyman communication skills. Where is he? Haven't heard as much as a peep from him............even his "tweeting" is virtually non-existant. I guess he went and supported the men's and women's teams at the AAC tournaments and flew out to Spokane for the NCAA's. One could hope he's pre-occupied w/ bball arena and/or conference stuff, or trying to get Cronin's contract extended.....but his lack of overall visibility and communication to the core fan base has been a bit of a surprise.

I'm willing to reserve judgment a bit. But I agree that it is a bit odd that he's been so off the radar. I expected more interviews and visibility. But hey, he's brand new and he has plenty of priority work to be focused on versus doing interviews. Hopefully he's working hard on conference positioning, micks contract, fundraising, and the myriad of other issues he has on his plate in this job.

I am afraid he might be a control freak and that is where his time is going. I base that on being told I could not get a copy of my New Nippert pavilion seat contract until he PERSONALLY reviewed and signed it.

As long as he is doing work with donors and helping Ono do what it takes to get out of this conference I don't care how visible he is. At this point those are both things that are too early to tell.

Besides, the type of deals we want him making seem to happen behind closed doors and outside of public view.

Definitely not jealous of you. Just think the guy who always has to mention how much he donates is a douche nozzle. There are at least two members here who make annual donations that make yours look like something you give to a stinky bum downtown, but they do not feel the need to mention it all the time. They realize that donating money does not make one person more of a fan than the guy who saves up to get upper level bench seats.
