To be fair, he didn't say season tickets 50 yard line to what. He could have given season tickets 50 yard line to UAB games, and would have fulfilled everything he said.

I'd say that Roddy just doesn't know how to act or speak in general, regardless of whether it is social media or not. That just happens to be his number one form of public communication.

It wasn't even a bet, he said he would give him the tickets if Duke lost. The other guy didn't bet anything. To me this is worst than losing a bet. If you say you're going to do something then be a man of your word and do it.

Ok, so it's not a bet. The fact is he opened his mouth and didn't stand by his word. He still hasn't learned that social media isn't private and can be your biggest critic.

Take it up with Bleacher report. It's their headline. I've never made the connection that it might be offensive. I looked it up and it is conclusive but might be a slur from the 1800’s against people from Wales who didn't pay off bets.
