CJP MUST have a different strategy for our defence...Our boys played their hearts out last night, but we were outcoached and out hustled by them...This cincy teams has taken the personality of their coach.

We are likely going to play UConn first, then Louisville in the semifinals.

So it's Josh's fault shaq let his guy drive right past him? It's Josh's fault or guards couldn't stop drives? It's easy to blame the coach, but sometimes players have to step up and make plays

I don't know what is wrong other than our defensive philosophy and/or defensive execution is not one of our reliable strengths.

I love the thought of playing both UCONN and CINCY again, because I feel like we win both games. I do not want any part of Louisville again however.

YES! Its's still more coaching than the players...we have a match up issue with this team...

It's all CJPs fault . The game should've been ours cause our players were on the court . They did their part .

Wondered how long it would take for someone to pick up on that! We played with mediocre effort. The guy that surprises me the most is Geron-his D has fallen off from last year-plays his guy on the hip a lot and of course gets beat to the basket-then Geron yells at a teammate for some reason as if it were their fault.

i think they are only doing what they are coached to do. you know, like yelling from the sideline for a guard to run out and face up a 29% 3 point shooter, in the process opening up a clear path to the rim? that kind of stuff?

If the guys are not putting out effort...whose fault is that? It's coach's responsibility to prepare them first mentally and physically and demand to execute them on the floor...if not, then he should sit on the bench. The main problem was our defensive strategy or kack

If the young men put their heads into it...they can do anything they want.
I remember the shellacking they took from UTEP ...and then beat UTEP AT UTEP for the CUSA title.
We have to bring our 'A' game to do this...and our history under Coach Pastner minus that one year that we were beaten by Houston in the CUSA tourney suggests that we will do this.
Teams that had given us trouble in the regular season were blown away by our intensity in the CUSA tournament.
Yes I KNOW we aren't in CUSA any longer...but I truly think we are about to see this team start tapping potential in the AAC tournament.

Our help defense was non existent...our man-on-man defense yesterday was literally man-on-man. Whenever our post guys touched the ball, Cincy had couple guys swarming at them. We left our bigs one-on-one in most cases against their bigs.

I dunno about that.
The guys fouled several times in the last minute after Josh told them not to.
And Josh has to jump up and down in all sorts of gyrations just to get his repeated point across about no more shots when we are way ahead in the last minute.
Maybe they just listen when they want to.
