Seeding - ncrdbl1 - 03-02-2014 01:37 AM

All i want is to be on opposite side of bracket than Louisville. Feel we can beat any other team right now. Hate to face Louisville for third time before finals. Remember back in the old Missouri Valley days having to play them a third time after beating them twice that year.

If we win the last 2 games- good chance Memphis ends up the 3 and Louisville the 1- so opposite sides...our win over Cincy would get Louisville to 1st place of they take care of business.

Louisville finishes with UConn and SMU so we need them to win.

We win out- they win out- 3 and 1.

Lose Thursday and we will play the 4/5 game.

Cincy has us and Rutgers.

Anyone know the tie breakers if head to head is tied?

I would guess 3 way ties would look at 3 way records to seed them. If still a tie??

Record against the highest seed not included in the tie break teams?

Never mind...

Looks like they do view records against highest non involved seed and set up mini conferences for records if 3 or more teams.

I looked at that as well. I figure we win out we most likely get the 3. Lots of variables still, but dang that Houston loss hurt - we could be talking 1 seed.
