I must say that I thought I was going to get RickRolled.
In actuality, the only way the B1G goes to it's grave is if it decides to ditch ESPN and go with Fox. Prompting the World Wide Monopolizer to prod the ACC and SEC into a raid.
The ditching of ESPN is possible, the raiding, sadly, is not.

The Big Ten is not ditching ESPN. The biggest fallacy that folks attempt to sell on this forum is that The Big Ten is even remotely interested in the idea of ditching ESPN. They might threaten to try and work out a deal similar to what the PAC has with ESPN but they will NEVER fully leave ESPN. The Big Ten is not run by idiots.

The Big 10 dies if the biggest programs decide to do a "conference" with 6 games or so and rake in the biggest $. Texas, Oklahoma, Ohio St., Michigan, Florida, Alabama and a few others.

The Big 10 doesn't die. Any more than the Ivy League ever died.
How relevant they remain in college football, that could be a concern over a couple decades.
