The city skyline doesn't work -- BB court - TIGERBANDIT - 02-04-2014 10:20 PM
It was a good idea, but it doesn't work well on TV. Whenever I look at it, it always feels like a distraction. The top of the pyramid is barely sticking out on TV. The bridge is chopped into segments and people have to study it to tell what it is. Memphis isn't known for its skyline.
The next time they take a poll, they should study how it looks from the view you will see on a television broadcast.
I don't want to be Mr. Negative because it's obvious that it was a solid idea.
I think I like the clean look better. I like a huge Tiger jumping out of an M.

I like it too, but I agree, Memphis is definitely undersized with its skyline relative to its metro population.

I like it. I hate the performance Toyota logo. I think we are the only major school with an ad like that on the court. Arena name and court name are fine on a court, but that ad doesn't flow with the rest of the court.

I don't like it personally. Most of my friends/relatives out of town that watch the Tigers for the sheer joy to call and rag me if we lose always use that as a ribbing point saying how junior league it looks. If memory serves it was the overwhelming choice by fans, so what you gonna do.
