Middle Tennessee State game thread - Billy_Bearcat - 12-21-2013 02:08 PM

Looks like about 2000 people showed up.

Guyn gives us absolutely nothing on the the offensive end. Wide open fast break layup and he screws up his dribble, stutter steps and jumps off two feet. Then turns it over on the next possession. What a point guard.

The only time Guyn should play is when Troy is so tired he physically can't.

Guyn is spectacular

Not sure what Tommy was looking at on that review. Shot clock clearly was at zero when the ball was in his hands.

This style of play makes my eyes bleed

RE: Middle Tennessee State game thread - FenderStratCat - 12-21-2013 02:51 PM

Would like to see Lawrence get more active, doing things off the dribble and cutting to the basket without the ball. He's got to use his athleticism and size more. His jumpers aren't there yet IMO.

It's like they're so tired from pressing and playing good defense that they use the offense as "break time" to just stand around. :/

Caupain has some long arms and gets himself in good position on rebounds. Isn't all that strong yet but already rebounds well for a guard.

I try to watch all Bearcat games, but watching this year's basketball team is becoming a chore rather than an entertaining experience.

Awful half on offense. not just a rate of play thing this time. that was awful. hard to watch when they turn it over don't rebound and miss shots. at least the defense has been there.

Guyn stepping up his play

RE: Middle Tennessee State game thread - bearcatfan - 12-21-2013 03:16 PM

It's really hard to watch this offense every game.

RE: Middle Tennessee State game thread - CAbearcat - 12-21-2013 03:19 PM

anyone else find themselves LOLing instead of being scared of Mick's "angry face"?

RE: Middle Tennessee State game thread - BcatMatt13 - 12-21-2013 03:24 PM

This offense is comical

Not sure I can say a PG with 0 pts and 0 assists is "stepping up" play

And some wonder why attendance is so low. Watching this team on offense is like watching the proverbial bunch of monkeys and the proverbial football.
